Raw Organic Peruvian Carob – Naturally Sweet & Mineral-Rich
Peruvian carob is a naturally sweet, mineral-rich powder made from the dried pods of a South American leguminous tree. It has a light brown colour and a warm, caramel-like flavour that makes it a beautiful, low-glycaemic alternative to refined sweeteners.
It’s very similar in taste and texture to mesquite, and often used in the same way.

"Great taste and usually a fantastic product in general, one that even produces quite a mellow state, but this time the quality wasn’t what it normally is and had quite large dried clumps in it. A partial refund was given as it was fine otherwise. Carob has such a great taste and this one is more lighter and almost vanilla/lacuma like in taste."
"I love this! I find it gives me a bit of a high, and definitely works beautifully with cacao! I use it as 'mesquite', even though it is technically 'Peruvian Carob'! Yum yum! The quality is beautiful, like all Raw Living's offerings, and the taste is great!"
