Kate recently went to Peru, and met some of the farmers that grow our Raw Living Maca. It's grown in a remote region of the northern highlands of Peru, five hours drive from the nearest major city, and at an altitude of 3,500m. Being able to farm and sell the maca provides a valuable source of income to farmers who have very limited education and opportunities.
