Made with shade grown organic coffee grown in the volcanic soil of Sierra Madre de Chiapas highlands in Mexico. Once roasted and brewed, the coffee is concentrated by evaporation and then spray-dried into a fine powder. Tested for zero pesticides and minimal mycotoxins, this is a high quality, potent product.
Tastes just like coffee, not like mushroom.
Coffee is acidic and causes stomach burn for some. Chaga balances the pH, gives a smoother taste, and provides all sorts of health benefits. To ensure the maximum bioavailability of active compounds, Four Sigmatic use a dual extraction process involving hot water and alcohol which results in a potent extract with a minimum 30% polysaccharides (over 15% beta-glucans), and 2% triterpenes.
Cordyceps helps balance the stimulating effects of the coffee and provides other energy boosting benefits.

"I'm a bit of a coffee snob, and always wearying of instant coffee, but I really enjoyed this one. It had a nice smooth flavour, which was especially surprising, as I was expecting the bitterness of the Changa to come through, but it didn't. It was a fine powder and mixed with the water really well. It was a medium strength in a mug. Perfect for travelling with, as the sachets were well made and sturdy. I really enjoyed this item, so will definitely purchase again!"

"Okay – so a confession: I'm Lorna and I'm a coffee addict... Thick, black, strong, daily – but I know it doesn't really suit my constitution. So I'm using these chaga mushroom coffee mix sachets to try and reduce my habit. Every other day, I'll substitute my filter coffee for one of these. They're not as strong, don't quite hit the spot and do taste a little like instant coffee – but hey! Chaga and cordyceps are superfoods, adaptogens and much healthier. So I'm feeling good about this plan of action."
