When someone we love receives a life-changing diagnosis, we want to do everything we can to help. This fund supports people who wish to explore complementary approaches to wellbeing, helping them access snow fungus and Lion’s Mane at no cost to them.

Every donation you make will be matched by us, helping to provide a 4–8 week supply of mushrooms for someone supported by the fund. We've kickstarted the initiative with an initial donation of 20 bags, and now we're inviting you to help us reach more people.

About Dr Kate James 🌿

Dr Kate James is a qualified medical doctor who worked in the NHS until 2010, before focusing on integrative health. Her training includes Living Foods, Western Acupuncture, Medical Hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Reiki and Yoga. She supports people seeking an integrative approach as they navigate their own health journeys.

Also known as Silver Ear and sometimes called the Grandmother Fungus, Snow Fungus is a delicate, gelatinous mushroom, naturally rich in polysaccharides and containing a range of minerals. Associated with wisdom, deep presence, softness and resilience, snow fungus invites us to slow down, take a broader perspective and reconnect with the natural world.

With its distinctive cascading, icicle-like spines, Lion’s Mane is one of nature's most intriguing mushrooms. The freeze-dried dual extract that Dr. Kate uses has a unique character, making the spirit and intelligence of the mushroom feel more palpable.
