Description
Shilajit is a densely nutrient-packed resin that exudes from high mountain ranges above 10,000 feet. In Ayurvedic tradition, shilajit has been renowned for two millennia as a panacea for overall health maintenance. No wonder it is called “Conqueror of Mountains, Destroyer of Weakness.”
Shilajit is thought to be composed of super-densely concentrated remains of entire primordial eco-systems, ensconced in rock formations many centuries ago. Our shilajit is sourced from the Altai Mountains near the borders of Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, and China. This region is renowned for its pristine, inaccessible remoteness. The majority of the population are nomadic sheep herders who live simply and sustainably, as a result, the Altai region remains remarkably free of human impact.
Our shilajit contains 91% fulvic acid! With safe metals and low harmful microbiology.
The attached lab test (COA) reveals our shilajit to be the highest quality available, at 90.95% fulvic acids. We also show very safe quantity of metals, lead, cadmium, mercury, etc, and our microbiology indicates no live microbial content, indicating it is free of animal dung and other unsavory components that can exist in low-quality shilajit products.
Fulvic acids are the smallest particles in soil, containing the quintessence of once-forest- systems. Fulvic acids comprise the food in soil, taken up by plant roots and animals, and supplying nutrients for their sustenance. I was astonished to see this high fulvic acid ratio, having never thought such pure shilajit could exist.
The high fulvic acid ratio proves our shilajit is composed almost entirely of remains of an ancient pristine eco-system that was trapped inside the strata when the Altai mountains were formed by colliding tectonic pressure, beginning approx. 40-50 million years ago. Only about 10% of the composition is from more recent detritus, indicating this shilajit was safely preserved inside the rock strata and protected from infiltration by more recent plant, microbial, and animal detritus.
Most shilajit comes as a sticky resin, reminiscent of how it looks when collected. Rehmannia prefers shilajit in powdered form. After air drying, the powder is undiluted by moisture, which could be why ours is so much more potent than others. But beware! Shilajit powder is easily corrupted with added fillers.
