Delicious!

"Smooth, buttery and so moreish. I am addicted!"

Love these

"Truly unique and a rare food, very tasty"

Acquired taste

"Received these free with my order, worth giving these a try. These won't be for everyone, as they do have an acquired taste. Handy as a quick snack to boost your energy or to take the hunger pangs away"

Anon (5/5)

Nutty with a difference

"Crunchy, lightly nutty, subtly chocolatey. They feel like little ancient treasures. I throw them on smoothie bowls or just grab a handful when I want something satisfying but still aligned with how I choose to fuel myself. Not a strong flavour but satisfying all the same."

interesting new food to try

"Interesting! These beans are a little bit crunchy and a little bit soft. They have a unique but not super strong flavour. I am experimenting to find or create a recipe that I absolutely love and given their benefits I am definitely persevering! To Kate's 'shortbread' recipe I tried adding vanilla, cinnamon, or a little sweet orange essential oil, which worked pretty well for my taste. I am looking forward to getting more."

An intriguing new food

"Occasionally something rare comes into our orbit like 3I/Atlas and this happened just as Macambo beans came into mine. My body likes these more than raw cacao, they are gentler on my system and softly uplifting. Other reviewers will tell you more about their subtle taste, delightful texture and what they are making with them but like 3I/Atlas I am still investigating what these are doing to my consciousness. All I know is that these are intriguingly out of this world. 👽"

Different but tasty in a recipe

"I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with these. I made them into the Raw living recipe to make like a raw fudge thing. It was tasty and a handy healthy snack. I haven’t eaten them as they are. They have a nice texture when ground up and different flavour thats hard to describe but work well mixed with other ingredients."

Interesting

"Never tasted macambo beans before, interesting smooth slightly nutty cacao taste, I have 1 a day with my activated nuts and it feels good for my stomach"

Luscious White Cacao

"This sacred nutrient rich cousin of cacao has a soft milky nutty flavour. I grind it with my coffee beans for my gentle start to my day. I love the way this makes me feel."
