Why don’t PurO3 products list an ozone PPM?

PurO3 explain that ozonated oils do not contain free ozone gas. During production, ozone reacts with the oils to form ozonides, which are the active compounds within the finished product. Because of this, PurO3 measure products using a Potential Ozonide Index (POI) rather than ozone PPM.

Founded in 1990, PurO3 developed a proprietary ozone infusion method that incorporates ultra-pure oxygen. This controlled process allows ozone to be introduced into selected oils at low temperatures, helping to preserve the integrity of the base oils.

Activated oxygen, also known as ozone, is formed when oxygen molecules (O₂) are exposed to an electrical charge, creating ozone (O₃). In the PurO3 process, ozone is carefully infused into high-quality oils over time. As the infusion progresses, the oil gradually thickens into a smooth, creamy gel with a distinctive fresh aroma.

"This is a really good product with many uses. I've been putting it on my face and scalp to give an immediate glow to the skin, I've been mixing a small amount in water and rinsing my mouth with it. I've been adding 1/8th teaspoon to a glass of water and drinking it, putting it on cuts and rashes and even using it as a deodorant. For skin I find it best to slightly wet your hands, apply a small amount of glycerin and then rub well in. This avoids stickiness as it all gets absorbed."

"This stuff has been a game changer for me! After my skin changed drastically in the last few months (extra dry, terrible eczema flare ups on my face which NEVER used to happen) I was at a loss since nothing was working. Since I’ve been adding a few drops of this to my lotion/oil I haven’t had to moisturise multilple times throughout the day anymore. My skin no longer gets that tight, itchy feeling when it’s dry and people say I’m glowing! I’ve also been eating fairly clean so this combo is really working for me. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is it’s such a small amount for the price."

"Absolutely an amazing product. I had a really bad rash down both my lower arms due to be allergic to a product I was using. It was getting worst and nothing I applied was helping. Just using this on its own plus sometimes mixing it with ozonated castor oil, has made such a big difference just in a couple of days. I also apply this on my face mixed with castor oil"
