How PurO3 Ozonated oils are made
Activated oxygen, also known as ozone, is created by taking pure oxygen and electrically charging it. This is done simply by flowing oxygen though an electrically charged tube.
What happens is this: pure oxygen or O2 (two oxygen atoms) is changed to pure ozone or O3 (three oxygen atoms), hence our name, PurO3.
The next step is where the amazing transformation takes place. The activated oxygen is then funneled into the desired raw oil where the electrically charged oxygen is slowly infused. The result: a creamy oil for your skin.

Our production process and quality are transparent.
PurO3 produces all of its oils in small batches which allows for the most rigorous quality control. To maintain the highest level of purity, all of our oils are packaged using glass containers. No plastics or metals ever touch our oils during production to prevent the leeching of foreign chemicals or byproducts into the oils.
After the ozonated oil process is completed, we refrigerate the final product in glass jars until they ship directly to you or a retail outlet.

What Is Activated Oxygen/Ozone?
Activated oxygen is most commonly known as ozone or O3. Ozone contains three atoms of oxygen rather than the two atoms we normally breathe. The extra atom of oxygen becomes a scavenger, destroying pollutants, bacteria, viruses and odors. While this third atom is very powerful it has a short life cycle of about 20 minutes, leaving behind only pure oxygen.
Ozone is created naturally when oxygen comes in contact with ultraviolet rays emitted from the sun. Since ozone is heavier than oxygen it falls and attaches to pollutants and cleans the air we breathe. Ozone is so safe it is being used all over the world in operating rooms, the organic food industry, municipal water systems, swimming pools and the list goes on and on. The beauty of ozone is that it leaves sparkling fresh water and a pathogen-free environment with only pure oxygen as a byproduct.

Ozone and Ozonated Oils
When ozone is bubbled through oil it is captured and preserved, increasing the longevity for up to ten years if refrigerated. The oil becomes a gel or cream, making it easy to apply to the skin. It has no known side effects and is often used for a variety of skin conditions.

The Technical Side of Ozonated Oils
Ozone is bubbled in oil at high concentrations under a controlled environment until it slowly begins to solidify. Basically, a catalytic reaction occurs that actually changes the oil and three primary organic peroxides are created through the entire process. In other words, the first peroxide reacts a second time to produce a second peroxide, then one more time to form a long chain terpene ozonide (C10H18O3). This can stay in the oil for up to ten years if refrigerated and is natural, needing no chemicals, preservatives or stabilizers to maintain.

Apply Tooth and Gum Support with a dental pick, cotton swab, or dental floss. For dental pick applications, use the pick to scoop the oil and pick it between the teeth or directly on the affected area. For cotton swab applications, scoop the oil with the swab and apply directly to the affected area and let the swab rest. For dental floss applications, coat the floss with the oil and slide the floss between the teeth.

You can also use your finger as an easy alternative to the dental pick.

PurO3 Tooth and Gum Support has a medium shelf life, which is why refrigeration may be necessary for irregular usage. If you plan on using all of the product within one to two months, refrigeration is not necessary.
