Great addition
"Nori is a great source of iodine, small flakes with a relatively mellow taste and small for a sea vegetable, you can add it to virtually anything especially a stew"
Nori is a small, mineral-rich algae with many folds. In Japan, Nori is cultivated, ground, and packaged in pressed sheets, giving it the delicate taste most people are familiar with from sushi.
This Spanish Nori, harvested wild at low tide in Galicia by award-winning sea vegetable producers Algamar, is a different species to Japanese Nori. It has a much stronger, more robust flavour and is supplied in its natural dried leaf form rather than in uniform sheets. It can be eaten raw, or lightly toasted and ground into flakes to sprinkle onto dishes.
Like all Nori, it is rich in proteins, vitamin A, and vitamin B12.
