Anima Mundi Herbals - Gynostemma (2oz)

In Stock

Description

Gynostemma is native to South-East Asia and has been admired for thousands of years. The Chinese traditionally drink Jiaogulan tea. Known to the locals as “poor man’s ginseng,” or "southern ginseng" as it contains at least 100 saponins that are extremely close to those found in the Ginseng family. Interestingly enough, Gynsotemma is even richer in these saponins than Ginseng!  Gynostemma is an adaptogenic herb.

Ingredients

Gynostemma leaf (Gynostemma pentaphyllum) Wild grown in Yunnan, China. 2oz dried leaf.

How To Use

Add 1tsp to 8 fl oz of hot but not boiling water. Steep for about 1-2 minutes, strain and enjoy. The leaves are naturally so sweet and aromatic, that a second or third steep, will still grant pleasant tea. Be sure to do at least 2 rounds per 1tsp serving.

Grown in the mountains of southwestern China for thousands of years, Jiaogulan is a wild herb that has been consumed as a tea or in soups.
