Dr Bronner’s soaps are 100% true pure-castile soaps that use certified organic ingredients under the fair trade act without animal testing, and are mostly 100% vegan (with the exception of the balms where beeswax is added for best efficacy). 

We have created or partnered with various fair trade organic projects all over the world including Sri Lanka, Palestine, Ghana, Ecuador, Kenya and Zambia where we ethically source our materials such as coconut oil, sugar cane alcohol and beeswax.

Our fair trade and eco-friendliness beliefs ensure fair prices, living wages and community benefits for farmers, workers and their families.

Along with our fair trade certification from IMO, all our soaps and personal care products are also certified by the USDA National Organic Program standards that certify organic foods. 

Dr Bronner is also committed to using better, eco friendly packaging. Our products are packaged using 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. The range includes the cult beauty classic Castile Liquid Soaps, Shikakai Hand Soaps, Hand & Body Lotions, Lip Balms, Body Balms and Hair Care.
