The cashew nut comes from a red fruit that resembles an apple. To extract the nut, the fruit is boiled, and the nut is carefully peeled by hand, as it is surrounded by a strong acid. This labor-intensive process ensures that the cashews retain their full flavor and nutritional benefits. Unlike store-bought cashews, our truly raw cashews have a fresher, creamier taste and are softer in texture.
