powerful!
"This is a very powerful blender. It is large but looks good. It is user friendly, and although I'm a non-tech knobs and buttons sort of person, I'm getting the hang of it. The jug is a good size and easier to clean than my previous blender (a Kenwood). I haven't had such a powerful blender before, so it took me a bit by surprise as it is very loud on full power, but I find half power does most things for me. I am making friends with it, bit by bit. i've never had a Vitamix, which i was also considering, but i read they are loud, too. A brushless blender, which would be quieter, is a few hundred pounds more. I miss my old glass jug, but the plastic jug is of a nice quality. (Optimum do have a glass jug for one of their more expensive blender models). I haven't done lots with it, yet, but I have ground nuts and seeds, which it does in a blink, and made my best spinach wraps so far. It is very fast and does an amazing job. Definitely a big upgrade on what i was using. I'm looking forward to trying new things like nut mylks, as well as the nemesis of my old blender, raw cashew cheesecakes. We also make liposomal vitamin in C and i'm sure it will be much easier with this machine. Investing in tech feels like a minefield with so much to choose from, so I appreciate Raw Living having this option - I know it will have been well-tested for the tasks I need it for."
