Fushi - Argan Moroccan Organic Oil (30ml, 100ml)

Fushi Organic Argan oil is 100% pure Moroccan Argan oil, cold pressed from the Argan nut that grows in the south western Morocco, where all-women cooperatives specialise in high quality Argan oil extraction. Picked by hand, the fresh raw kernels are cold pressed to produce light golden coloured oil.

We import directly from a women’s co- operative Morocco and the oils is bottled by ourselves in the UK. Our virgin organic Argan oil is prepared from unroasted kernels and is golden-coloured with not much taste. Fushi's Argan oil has a slight sweet nutty aroma which implies a good quality Argan oil as opposed to the pungent smell often found present in lower grade Argan oils. Furthermore, it is cold pressed and unrefined. We buy argan oil at large amounts due to a large turnover, that we are able to provide a competitive price for very superior quality oil.

Women’s cooperatives are aimed at sustainably supporting the Argan forest and represent the cornerstone of a vast program involving the reforestation of fragile and particularly degraded lowlands and also provide education of rural women. It is important to source this oil fairly and sustainably which is why we source from only one reputed grower.

The outstanding cosmetic and nutritional qualities of Argan oil can hardly be more diverse: it has an intensive moisturising effect and strengthens the skin's natural defence. Its natural abundance of vitamin A and vitamin E oil wards off free radicals and helps protect against wrinkles and fine lines.

In addition, Argan oil boosts the circulation and stimulates cell activity and renewal. The rejuvenating effect of Argan oil is inestimable: the skin looks denser, smoother and more alive. It is also recommended for frizzy hair and can be used as a conditioning treatment for the hair.

Argan oil benefits from being rich in antioxidants. It helps neutralise free radicals and can help fade scars and age spots as well as balance sebum protection and may even be useful for acne sufferers. Rich in omega 6 and plant sterols it is a highly nutritive oil much like vitamin E oil.

Fushi Argan oil is certified organic by the Soil Association UK, as well as Eco Cert. Packaged in glass bottle to protect the contents from heat, light, oxidation and moisture. Fushi is an ethically accredited company by the Ethical Shopping guide. This freshly pressed bottle of oil was made from approx. 375g-500g untoasted nutritious Argan nuts.

This is a non-standardised, unrefined and natural oil. Each batch varies and displays a set of unique characteristics. Sediment or natural particles of the ingredients may be visible in the oil. This is simply down to our oils never being refined, deodorized or filtered, and does not imply the oil is faulty.
