MSM is short for Methylsulfonylmethane, a naturally occurring form of sulphur. Our MSM is derived from Canadian plants such as flaxseeds & corn, and not from petroleum sources. Sulphur is known as the “beauty mineral” . MSM affects the cell membrane in removing fluids and toxins. MSM acts as a carrier, and helps other nutrients to penetrate the cells.

Purity. There are two methods used for purifying MSM, crystallisation and distillation. Crystallisation is cheaper and risks impurities. Our MSM is purified by distillation, 100% pure. No fillers, binders, additives or flow agents.

Note: Most MSM is fossil based, and crystallized, which will not give as pure a product (as distillation). Our Canadian MSM is Bio-based, it is very pure.

Source material:That the source material (DMSO) has its methoxyl groups derived from organic based lignins, rather than methanol alternative.

Purity: The final product is distilled to gain a superior level of purity. This is like distilling water to remove impurities, and as far as we are aware, our supplier is one of only two MSM manufacturers in the world to do this.

Capsules: HPMC -- Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose -- is derived from vegetable cellulose. 100% natural, these capsules contain no preservatives, gelatin, wheat, gluten, animal by-products or starch, and they are made from pure cellulose of either pine or poplar.
