Our organic Wheatgrass and Barleygrass powders are grown on the sunny Canterbury Plains of New Zealand, where the fertile soil and long growing season allow the plants to develop slowly and reach their nutritional peak. These wholesome green foods are made from the dehydrated, powdered leaves of organically grown young grasses, with no additives — just pure, natural goodness.

Our wheatgrass is always harvested young, before it reaches 9 inches in height, ensuring optimal nutrient density and a milder taste profile. After harvest, it is gently dehydrated for around 25 minutes, reducing the moisture content to less than 5%. Quality control is a priority: samples are taken every hour throughout the process to maintain the highest standards.

Once dried, the wheatgrass is immediately milled in stages to a fine powder, with particles around 50 microns in size. It is then packaged without delay in our organically certified facility, preserving its freshness and nutritional potency.

While wheatgrass is best enjoyed fresh, the powdered form is an excellent alternative for when fresh wheatgrass isn’t readily accessible — offering a convenient way to enjoy its green, alkaline benefits every day.

Naturally gluten-free — although wheatgrass comes from the wheat plant, the powder is made from the leaf, not the grain, making it suitable for those avoiding gluten.
