Nutritional Benefits of Cacao Liquor
Cacao liquor is one of the richest natural sources of antioxidants and polyphenols, helping to reduce inflammation, support heart health, and enhance overall well-being. It is packed with healthy fats, magnesium, iron, and theobromine, which can help boost mood, improve cognitive function, and provide sustained energy.
What is Ceremonial Cacao?
Ceremonial cacao is simply a term for high-quality, whole-bean South American cacao liquor—also known as cacao paste. All of Raw Living’s cacao is ceremonial-grade, meaning it is sourced and processed with care, making it ideal for cacao ceremonies, meditation, or deep nourishment.
The Purest Cacao Experience
If you care about your cacao being truly raw, you will appreciate the difference in our product. Unlike most cacao liquor that undergoes higher temperatures in processing, ours remains cold-pressed and minimally processed, preserving the full energetic and nutritional profile of the cacao bean.
Our Commitment to Forest Protection
Our cacao is sourced from smallholder farmers using agroforestry systems, which preserve forest cover by design. We hold Rainforest Alliance, organic and Fair Trade certifications — the Rainforest Alliance standard in particular prohibits deforestation, requires GPS mapping of all farms, and uses satellite monitoring to verify compliance. This data infrastructure supports full traceability from farm to manufacturer, and since June 2025, EUDR-aligned requirements have been mandatory across all certified cocoa farms. Peru's government has also geolocated over 184,000 agricultural plots and partnered with Global Forest Watch for independent deforestation verification.
