Impossible to mimic, this pure vanilla has over 200 elemental chemicals, the main compound being vanillin. Madagascan vanilla has three times as much vanilla, giving it a superior taste & fragrance - which is why it has such a fine reputation.
This vanilla is cured naturally - a process that can takes weeks, then the beans are left for months to fully develop this flavour.
Use the beans whole or split them to get more flavour from the thousands of seeds inside the pods. They will keep indefinitely in a cool, dark place in an airtight container (don't refrigerate).

To preserve the exquisite fragrance of the vanilla, store it in an airtight bag or container. We recommend double sealing it, i.e. put it in a resealable bag, and then put the bag in a container with an airtight lid.
