Our specialist grower in the USA has produced a blend to combine the benefits of 14 different mushrooms. Our combination of mushrooms is rich in 1,3 and 1,6 beta glucans, arabinoxylans, glycoproteins, triterpenes and antioxidants.
Our grower is very committed to producing mushroom powders and capsules of the highest purity and potency possible. To accomplish this, they are involved in every step of the process from cultivation to processing. They grow all of the mushrooms used in their products at their certified organic farm and laboratory in the USA and do not use any imported mushrooms in any products. Every batch of mushrooms is grown from young cultures, closely monitored through the growth cycle, harvested at the optimum stage of growth and then carefully processed to ensure potency. To verify quality, each batch is sent to a third party analytical laboratory for testing.
In addition to taking steps to ensure purity and a high constituent content, they are also concerned about providing mushroom products in which the constituents are in a bioavailable form. The main constituents of mushrooms, the 1,3-Beta Glucans, are tightly bound to the cell walls and have a low degree of bioavailability in raw mushrooms. To overcome this and increase the bioavailability of the constituents, all of their mushrooms undergo a steam activation process that breaks down the cell walls and frees the 1,3-Beta Glucans from the chitin.
